Hello There Poet Sonnet

Now Before Eternity

My love, I beg, do not leave me alone
to dream on clouds or drift from star to star;
your sweet caress is more than I have known.
Please, come to me and claim this life as ours.

One kiss, one touch, one moment of pure bliss 
shall be the life and yet the death of me;
for with you lies the love that I have missed.
Oh, how I long to have you here with me. 

If you should go, my dreams shall turn to dust, 
and all I am will slowly disappear; 
though precious moments filled with love and trust 
will grant me strength to last throughout the years. 

I need you now and ask that you will stay;
eternity is still so far away.
