Novel Ideas

I keep a journal to write down good ideas for poems. It's small, it fits in every pocket: even the front pocket of my jacket. Which is wonderful. The only problem with it is that the one idea that lives inside its tiny pages says, "Ants actually taste a lot like lemons" per my eight-year-old nephew. Now I'm not saying that's not a great idea for a poem I'm just saying I don't have the authority to write it. Maybe you might.

Ants taste a lot like lemons, and other stories you tell your little sister :) I'm sure I had a brilliant idea this morning that I forgot - I thought it was so good, I'd be sure to remember to write it later. Instead I organised a refund for an accidental subscription for vitamins I took out. Great result, but less inspiring. I love the idea of a tiny book :)

Sounds like an opportunity to write a poem about vitamins : ) The book does come in handy to save those great ideas when they come around every now and then. Ants taste a lot like lemons and other stores you tell your little sister is an amazing title for a chapbook
