Nothing To Do

I had nothing to do with being born, And there are times I feel so tattered and torn. I wish I knew the reason why, I feel confused, But I still don't want to die. I feel being here is no mistake, But the plans for my life are plans I did not make. I have very little to do with things while I'm here, But I'll continue on and try to have no fear. I have to deal with life from day to day, For you see there really is no other way. I'm sure when the time comes to bid this life adieu, I'll have nothing to say about leaving this life too.
