Not Tonight

Not Tonight

My mind it cries into the night
There is no longer so much fright
The rapture that was long ago
Tis is not now I to and fro
Guilded, that is not me
I’m crying to be set free
A lie
Betrayal
I’ve died inside

Just not tonight

Freedom from my deepest sins
Inside my mind just not so kind
Believeth to be set free

Just not tonight

I’ll pull through
It’s in my nature
But sometimes I feel I waiver
The simple cries that hurt me so

Just not tonight

The pain upon my brow
The sorrow felt so deep below
The Autumn is upon us
And yet I do not hear the crow
Inflicted I did unto myself
No yield for my mind that doth come true

Just not tonight

Maybe I can make it further
A rustle of what could come true
No more that is just black and blue
A simple thought, a crackle or a spark
So forever more it will always be

Just not tonight
