Not Today

Not today

Your inner voice asks you:
"When will you embrace your dreams?
When will you allow yourself to be all that you can be? 
When will you realise that you are born from stars?
When will you become the magnificent being that you are?"

And invariably you answer:
"Not today...", 
Out of fear
You struggle to find the strength
To get through these lonely years

For your life has been a challenge
As far back as you can remember
And you've asked God and His Angels
To guide and help you with your limits

But Heaven knows all about your gifts 
They wanted you to be stronger
To embrace your path of spirituality
To be your magical self and prosper

They put inside you 
All that you would need
They provided love and protection
To save you from all evil

But it is still up to you
To power your destiny
For the greatest test is now
To realise all your dreams

Those dreams were not given
To depress or hamper you
They are part of your book
To be written as you embrace truth

And when you are ready
And your inner voice asks those questions
You'll not say:
"Not today..."
But, will say instead:
"Let's do it! I am ready!"
