Ondine is an awesome play written by Jean Giraudoux

Listen to poem:
she was a nymph from the deepest sea pure and beautiful inside and out as luck would have it she fell in love his name Hanz a mere mortal but it was fate she gave up everything for him such a rude awakening to realize he was unworthy so with her heart broken she returned to the sea AP: Honorable Mention 2022 Originally posted on May 26, 2021

Something of a Haiku in these simple redolent words. Lovely sad imagery, well described, Line.

The play I was inspired by is well worth reading though, it focuses on the main character's charming innocence ~
