Not In Me

All the bickering
Kept you ticking
For me there was no bliss
I have no problem waving bye 
Without blowing a kiss

Thought I'd be more upset
Deep inside I feel relief
Too often I felt resentment
Now rid of negativity
There's contentment

Never my goal to hurt you
If that's what you feel
I solute you
For not knowing me well enough
After all this time
That it's not in me
To backhand your pride

One person can only take so much
Being stood up
Flaked on
Being pushed to the dust
Being the alternate way to spend time
Come up with something better
Drop me like a dime
I was only worth ten cents to you
Cut my losses and move on
