Roller skating is not a piece of cake
Bruised knees will need some icing
When you a rolling tumble take
Roller skating is not a piece of cake,
Your balance is like an uneven bake
Even if a piece of it is so enticing
Roller skating is not a piece of cake
Bruised knees will need some icing!

It's great exercise, but now, I'd break most of my bones and wind up an invalid!

Just am not physically able to do them anymore. Deb and I skated one evening every week for quite a long time. It was wonderful exercise and a good time together. After that, we took ballroom dancing classes for a while.

Deb and I used to roller skate once a week on our date night. I tried ice skating but my ankles were never strong enough to do it well. Most don't realize how strong figure skaters ankles must be!
