Travelling to the past…tiptoeing back to soft, tender days of miracle, which disappeared like crimson rays of dusk gradually spread an aura of apparent everlasting peace with birds homecoming... cocooned by mother’s love, and father’s affection…protected by doting siblings, a poignantly loving and giving, blissful childhood! Life is not a perpetual dream, easy, and flowing, soothing, and calming… The breeze which lulls, may turn into wild, torturous, blustery wind, cutting like a sharp knife on your skin, on your face; you are swimming against the cruel current of kismet, an abrupt and precipitous choice turns life into an unimaginable nightmare, and no respite in view! girl who used to find all her dreams crystallized in shiny silver snowflakes, was shaken by turbulent waves of hurt, sorrow, and sufferings! her values shattered, her hopes crushed, she thought she met the inevitable grim end! End shocked her - standing upright against the merciless storm, dark clouds evaporated, radiant sun arrived on a chariot of seven stallions, horizon turned vermillion red, temple-bells started chiming cadence of blessings, she stood alone, but triumphant, she was jubilant!

Dearest Mala, a journey from turbulence to jubilance artfully told. Your choice to stand "upright" in the face of a "merciless storm" is inspiring while your vibrant images of challenge and victory chime a "cadence of blessings!" Your story can only be a source of inspiration for all who have, or are now, walking through wild chaos. Thank you, dear friend, for sharing your journey. Traveling mercies. If your path brings you close, please let me know! Blessings of health and happiness.

Dear Sam, I am translating the book I wrote in Bengali, and posting in our blogs - one chapter at a time. So far I have posted two chapters - the total book is 18 chapters. It's not my autobiography, but probably autobiographical sketches. The main voice belongs to someone from my family. Thank you ~

Dear Sam, so delighted to read your kind, inspiring, thoughtful, hopeful comment. Some day I might tell you my whole story...it is almost a story!!! Standing "upright" is probably the right word for what I had gone through. I am in India right now, spending time in a beautiful cultural place. Planning to organize a poetry workshop in February...I need blessings from all of you. Love and Hugs, Dearest Friend!

Dear sweet Mala, another captivating read from you my hugely talented friend. As Inky says, you are such a wonderful, descriptive storyteller that takes the reader into the scenes being portrayed. Your use of wonderful, creative language and exquisite imagery never fails to amaze me. I especially love the last few uplifting lines,’ she was jubilant’- love a happy ending and I love your poetry. Brings such joy. Thank you for sharing your poetic heart to all. Keep inspiring dear Mala.

Dear Christina, a really heart-warming note from you! For a few days, I was not in my best cheerful mood, but a comment from you and few more friends cheers me up, and inspires me to continue. I had struggles and turbulence in my life, mostly emotional, but to this day I stay positive, and work towards a goal, although it may never be achieved. Thank you so much for reading and commenting on my poem...to me, that's the blessings I aspire for.

Outstanding poem!! I gravitate to this type of poem, one that tells a story with a beginning, middle, and positive ending. You took me through childhood memories and a journey into turbulent times emerging victorious. Some many beautiful lines. I especially liked Travelling to the past…tiptoeing back to soft, tender days of miracle, which disappeared like crimson rays of dusk. "Tiptoeing was the ideal word." You have a wonderful writing talent and soft poetic voice. Have a great evening, hugs

Your poem beautifully captures the contrasting phases of life, from the soft and tender days of a blissful childhood to the tumultuous challenges and hardships that one may encounter along the way... It beautifully navigates through the complexities of life, exploring the nostalgia of a blissful past, the challenges of the present, and the triumphant spirit that emerges from facing adversity. The vivid imagery and emotional resonance make it a poignant reflection on the journey of life..

Dear Poet, Your comments are as amazing as your poems are - I did not start writing poetry too long ago - I am learning from you, and many other talented poets. I feel blessed to receive your kindest and most inspiring comments - although I know I have a long way to go! Probably the one thing we have in common is the passion for writing poetry. I want to mention to you about a blog I have recently posted - it's the translation of a story I wrote in Bengali and published in India. If you have a few moments in your busy schedule, I would be delighted to have your feedback. No worries, no rush. Best wishes always ~

How descriptive and brilliant. I see it in you, a brilliant storyteller, here too youve done it so poetically in such eloquence. I love the imagery and how it flows as well dear mala, you are so gifted. I especially love the lines “ girl who used to find all her dreams crystallized in shiny silver snowflakes, was shaken by turbulent waves of hurt, sorrow, and sufferings!“ this hits so hard and so strong. Life is not always butterflies and rainbows so true. I love the ending! fave this is for me
