Not a Dry Eye

Canada has welcomed refugees by a plane load
A dry eye was not observed as compassion flowed
Poor unfortunate folks
Such sadness it evokes
Forced to leave everything to travel a new road

My adopted son Casey is 1/2 American + 1/2 Turkish. We brought his Sunnie Muslim Mom to live with us for a year to help her. Casey will go to Iraq or Afghanistan when he gets back from S.Korea.
