Nostalgia
Nostalgia brings remembrance to our minds
On looking back with yearning and desire;
Stirred by the longing for fond memories
To reappear as flashes from the past.
Alienation often spurs reviews-
Lets sad or happy visions come to life,
Gifting the mind and heart with souvenirs
Instilled from those realities that passed-
Allowing minds and hearts to recreate.
