Nostalgia

A cascade of autumn leaves lying scattered all around
in faded pale light, nostalgia is tucked in some bygones
forest air still redolent of pink azaleas profound,
reclaiming back those moments in images and icons.

In faded pale light, nostalgia is tucked in some bygones.
riding that chariot of rainstorm, did we not then dance?
reclaiming back those moments in images and icons,
promissory of dreams, beckoning rainbow of romance.

Riding that chariot of rainstorm, did we not then dance?
remember under that tree, I dissolved in your wrapped arms
promissory of dreams, beckoning rainbow of romance,
molten moments of candle wax, awakened in your charms

Remember under that tree, I dissolved in your wrapped arms,
forest air still redolent of pink azaleas profound.
Molten moments of candle wax, awakened in your charms.
A cascade of autumn leaves lying scattered all around.

Debjani, you expressed the deep feelings of emotion by placing the reader in the scene. I love the lines, "remember under that tree, I dissolved in your wrapped arms molten moments of candle wax, awakened in your charms" Congratulations on your win. Hugs Eve

Such gorgeous lines, especially 'chariot of rainstorm' and 'molten moments of candle wax' - should be a top winner!
