Nonna

She was so young
And in the prime of life

I miss her every day
Much more than she ever thought I would

While I took for granted
We’d never run out of tomorrows

Life got busy
The lord came to take her away

No possibility of second chances
How I ache for just one more yesterday

A poem that shows the importance of living in the moment. We all take people and time for granted without realising that time flies and takes people along with it. Touching poem. Great tribute. :)

A tribute to a wonderful soul, who is still watching, and admiring her granddaughter.
