Non-Stop Boy
In the garden he had played.
Grassy patches on both knee's he'd made.
A worn out grin with rosy cheeks displayed.
The fun time he had; to me relayed.
He takes a long sip of his cool apple juice drink
and I watch his expression as he begins to think.
Then with his cup drained, he tosses it into the sink
and returns to his train set to continue its link.
But not before long, he's up on his feet.
Off to the garden once more; my budding athlete.
He's constantly moving, so unlike concrete.
Can't wait to see his energy when he can compete.
