Halfway through summer You delivered a bummer Sold off all your big stars Nobody knows who your new players are Last night's game? You lost Ten-to-Nothing Today you scored more Something like 17 to 4 Poor fans have nothing to cheer We just cry in our beer But, I'll come watch anyway 'Course, my ticket YOU'LL pay ~ I wasn't born yesterday! _________________________________ For more information on my birthday, Multiply 24 beers by 3, then ask a gypsy! ~ I ain't no dummy!

The Cubbies have not competed this season. My beloved Red Sox are reverting to their old ways. Hope is not yet lost however. On another note I detest most of the new rule changes in baseball. They are very close to ruining my favorite game.

Cubbies are back to being losers -- just no longer lovable. Red Sox' are bleeding as well... At least Chicago has the Sox! How 'bout that game in Iowa last night, that 9-8 Sox winner?! Go, White Sox! As for the new rules, I kind of like the 7-inning doubleheaders myself. Cheers, Gershon
