Thanks Kevin….it was so sad….a member of my family ….my nephew ….was a friend with the boys and is the same age….my nephew started driving at the same time…when its so close to home the reality of it hits you harder and its frightening! Thankyou for your comment Kevin….Debx

aww Deb this is heartbreaking on so many levels - i know there was a seat belt advert many years ago - 'clunk click every trip' - perhaps they should re do it but end up with a more serious message at the end:-( hugs jan xx

Oh thanks ilene....a true unbelievably sad tale to tell though.... just starting out in life then one bad decision or thoughtless moment and it's all gone....never coming back! Sorrow and devastation left behind....A familiar tale worldwide! Thankyou my friend....Debx

Oh this packs a punch! So many lose life and or limbs from being careless about not wearing a seatbelt! A sad reality Deb! Great poem!

The teenager died that didn't have his seat belt on the driver has had several brain ops already an in a induced coma... the devastation is what and who is left behind! Such a waste! Thanks Daniel....Debx

Yes...I lost a loved one in a devastating accident. Someone negligent. Seat belts...and lighter on the accelerator. Get to smell the roses. Blessings. Well said.

In one thoughtless moment or one bad decision lives are changed forever….no second chance! It breaks my heart Joe…such a waste a young life or lives over just like that ! I am sorry you lost a loved one this way Joe and have had to experience that devastation and sorrow first hand! Thankyou….Debx
