No Reconciling
With age her constitution
Is not what it used to be
She was a lioness in her day
A tigress in her abode
A cougar on the prowl
Bold strong sensual
She had dreams to conquer
Hope stoic that never quivered
Though drenched at times
In the echo of a roar
The years now show
Ruthless and unforgiving
And the dissociation
Is worlds apart
There is no reconciling
That was then and this is now
