No One Ever Comes

She sits in the corner of her bedroom,
and listens to his yells and his hateful words.
He calls her name
But she buries her head in her knees
                         ONE STEP...
                                      TWO STEPS...
He becomes closer and closer with his temper increasing.
                                                     THREE STEPS...
                                                                      FOUR...
He hovers over her with the smell of alcohol taking over.
He jerks her up and pushes her against the wall.
She screams for him to stop.
Praying someone will rescue her.
But, no one comes..
No one ever comes...
