No One Asks Why

Green leaves, alive, with Spring blue sky.
Sunlight shampoo, no tears to cry.
Each crown is shaped. Kind work is HIS.
Basking in beauty - when there is
light in the world, no one asks why.

Amen. Psalm 19: The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. I like the sunlight shampoo - the almost 'sunlight soap' but surprising and apt, and the quintilla form that has a springy joy in it.
