No More Cigs

I've got to tell you I've stopped smoking, Not had one for nearly a year. Some turn to eating lots of sweeties, I turned to drinking more beer. I have just got to say It's getting easier each day. I can now drink ten pints, Without a wobble or a sway. But I am putting on weight Drinking all of this beer, So I'm going to try whiskey, Starting next year.

Great and well done poem, Simon. I saw you rarely drink, good for you. I do know the feeling and still remember how hard it was to stop smoking. It is 30+ for me; I walked a lot and took a lot of long hot baths and it help, staying away from those that smoked. Soup Mail

Hi Eve,thank you . I'm not a big drinker,like a couple of cans when brothers come round,I use one of those vape things now.now don't have nicotine in it.stopped beginning of march last year and not had a cig since.take care.simon

Hi Linda, sorry it's a late reply.i have been stopped smoking a full year in two weeks.im not really a drinker,like odd beer now and again.take care.simon:)

Hi Charlotte, not had a cig since end of feb.im not a big drinker.i like shorts.lol.trying to think what other temptation I could have.will have a think and let you know.take care.simon:)

I hope the ten pints is an exaggeration lol, hubby drinks 2 whisky in the pub rather than lots of beer like his buddies, well done on quitting smoking:-) hugs Jan xx

Good for you if you no longer smoke. However, it's not a good idea to substitute alcohol for tobacco. Beer and whiskey will prove to be more harmful. Nevertheless, this is a good write.
