I gave him a second chance, a third and fourth chance. He was a smooth talker- a fraud! Prisoner of pretty words, I did not see the truth, oh, I was smitten easy prey for a skilled abuser and yet I miss him still! His words pretty, charming ways, his fierce deep kisses! My chain was sweet lust and desire, it was hard to push him away- it took all my strength. Wonderful write, and I'm so glad you recognized this player for what he was. People only have power over us to the extent we LET them, but when you're smitten and they know it, it's sometimes so hard to break free! I have been there, and it's no fun ... but power comes with the wisdom, I believe - we are stronger! Blessings and congrats on your well-deserved win, my friend! :-) <3
