No Known Destination

Dialogue like electricity shooting from point to point, I am hearing all the sounds of conversation; I am learning nothing here at all. Don’t speak to me about love, don’t speak to me about redemption. I have loved you with your mask on, I have loved you without. I have seen you with no deliberation, no hesitation or direction. Like a lost soul in purgatory, you wander room to room- pretending you are seeking some known destination. When in truth, you have no journey; You have no pathway nor wooded trail to follow. Don’t be content with your ordeal- Fight it tooth and nail with everything you’ve at your disposal. Drag your demons by the throats down each rugged road, tear their flesh or lack thereof with every shrapnel you’ve incurred. Take your war wounds and take the scars, use them as amassed skin to spare and disperse at will. Dimensions that unfold before you, like unrolling carpets for some sinner. I will forgive you, I will forget- As if that were some right of mine to make claims to.
