That’s the beauty of eternity Anaya anything and everything can appear true at any given time, the wannabe scientist in me believes on the face of it, relativity explains most of the universe at a local level, but then breaks down when quantum physics and infinity is applied, let alone consciousness, yes indeed no GUT stands up to scrutiny, so still a place for a God, of course, I’d never be arrogant enough to dismiss one out of hand!

Are we really flying through space on a spinning ball within an expanding universe, while free-falling around the Sun—all as a consequence of a “Big Bang” that supposedly occurred 13.8 billion years ago? Do we really occupy no special place in the cosmos, while living out random and fundamentally meaningless existences? Or are there problems with this scientific worldview? He deconstructs these beliefs revealing many shocking flaws and inconsistencies. Although he doesn’t claim to provide definitive answers, sometimes arriving at what’s not true is just as valuable. Very true Anaya, man’s nature is sometimes to project onto others what he sees in the mirror to take the gaze away from himself, I don’t believe I’ve heard of Grober, but I have heard this kind of reasoning many times, but then I think (why anything at all why not just nothing) I believe we’re here because we have to be here, an inevitability of an infinite cosmos, which ultimately leads to a profound postulation, if we lived once why not a trillion trillion times in the past and future, we are part of eternity after all, mad stuff! Heya Duke yes I live in Ireland, it is a beautiful place once you get outside the city, I always try to peer below the surface in my poems, sometimes I go below and off to the side and very few get me on first read, perhaps a hint of dishevelment in this one with a twist, great to meet you Duke, cheers David
