No Bridge In Life
From here to there seems impossible
by way of deep water makes me wonder,
my attitude and determination are not positive
I need to pause a few moments to ponder.
Endeavors are challenges, small or bigger steps
Hurdles are achievements getting beyond
Life has barriers, some are easy and some are impassable
I could make that crossing if I had a bridge
Unfortunately there isn’t a bridge to make life easy
I need to construct such a passageway,
one that will provide an avenue through adversities
and that I will not become defeated if it does decay.
To get beyond obstacles and uncertainties
I need a grip on my feelings and emotions
which I can utilize to fulfill my ventures in life
and get from here to there without a bridge
