Thunderstorms wreak havoc on a summer's day, Especially if plans include the beach. Stormy weather will deter all water play. Thunderstorms wreak havoc on a summer's day, Pouring rain and lightning have the final say, And put a beach excursion out of reach. Thunderstorms wreak havoc on a summer's day, Especially if plans include the beach.

Be aware of thunderstorms. I like the triolet form as it’s a short poem. Over and above lines are repeated. Trying the contest.
