No-Internet-Dinosaur

No internet, for the howmanieth time, not for the first time, by far, not to worry, there's my dinosaur, he'll be semi-fun for now, and I have it well in hand, so much no internet has me used to it all by now, nothing lasts forever, though, there I've hurled him into the needles of a laughing cactus, game over, sorry dino, for the toomanieth time, not to worry, there's another, start, more semi-fun, go, and now it's quicker by the yard, but I have it well in hand, for a while, at least, but not forever, there I 've hurled him into the teeth of a smaller dinosaur, game over, poor sucker, again, next, please, there you are, now nasty no-internet internet has a nasty trick to deploy, day becomes night, threw me for a second and I was nearly undone, but I have it back in hand until good internet leaves him suspended and disappointed in mid-air, good things lead to better things, as they say, and now I have internet, it's really for the best, it's what I came for, you know. 8th June 2020

Thanks for bringing me a smile tonight. We've all been there. It's frustrating, but I've never played the dinosaur game. My kids have told me about it, though...maybe I'll try it next time. I feel like I'm missing out. I will usually write the old fashioned way, pen to paper if I have no internet...I enjoyed the read, Lawrence. Hugs, Rhonda:)

Thanks, Rhonda, visit and comment appreciated. To be fair, this one is both literal and metaphoric. Very pleased if you enjoyed.

When my laptop or tablet tells me that I have no internet connectivity, the eighties style dinosaur graphic appears and I immediately click on it. I'm happy to play for as long as I need to, and it does keep me occupied. Just as people may play with whichever substitute relationship presents itself while they're waiting for the one they really want.

I know this dinosaur!! Yes, I have played this game- while waiting to connect. Most of the time, I walk away and find something else to do. I have word document on my laptop, so- there are times I linger with my muse. Waiting to see if she will come out to play. :) I am happy to see you back Lawrence. :) Brandy

Yours is an enjoyable pleasant write which elicits a wide smile, Lawrence. Internet has many advantages, though it can also be exasperating. Of course, we have to take the bad with the good. ~ Regards // paul

This made me chuckle so. Especially being hurled into the needles of a laughing cactus. I'm a wee bit hooked, but not enough to get a screeny thing phone, this dino chick likes her flip. ;), xomo

It's a joy when technology works as intended, especially when you need it. But when it doesn't work, often we have no clue why its down..quite frustrating! Looks like you have had your share, Lawrence.
