No-Internet-Dinosaur
No internet,
for the howmanieth time,
not for the first time, by far,
not to worry, there's my dinosaur,
he'll be semi-fun for now,
and I have it well in hand,
so much no internet
has me used to it all by now,
nothing lasts forever, though,
there I've hurled him
into the needles of a laughing cactus,
game over, sorry dino,
for the toomanieth time,
not to worry, there's another,
start, more semi-fun, go,
and now it's quicker by the yard,
but I have it well in hand,
for a while, at least,
but not forever,
there I 've hurled him
into the teeth of a smaller dinosaur,
game over, poor sucker, again,
next, please, there you are,
now nasty no-internet internet
has a nasty trick to deploy,
day becomes night,
threw me for a second
and I was nearly undone,
but I have it back in hand
until good internet leaves him
suspended and disappointed in mid-air,
good things lead to better things,
as they say,
and now I have internet,
it's really for the best,
it's what I came for, you know.
