Nightmare

Falling into space,

Awakening from a dream.

A scream caught in throat,

Nothing is as it may seem

Waiting for fear to subside.

Another great write. The worst nightmare I ever has was when I was eleven. I had a dream I was trapped in a fire and burning.

Super Tanka Francine. My second oldest son suffered from nightmares until just recently. He's 19 now, and for years he initially seen a hand coming through the ceiling towards him to the presence eventually standing by his bed. It's not happened for a few months now. Hopefully this episode has passed > thank you for your always kind comments >> James

Falling! Falling! I used to have this sort of dream all the time. Then, one night, I told myself "You can fly." When the dream came on I took off. Never have had that dream since. My sympathy. This sort of dream is frightening - so real! Love, Dave
