Night Traveler
Silence is the messenger to my heart
Love, the soft glow to my eternal flame
While your faith keeps it lit while we're apart
And the distance of longing calls your name
Though the many miles have kept us captive
Far from warm arms and comforting love
We share a patience each night and relive,
a distance searching in defiance of
As I lay here counting shadows, I smile
And think of you warmly bathed in jeweled light
I shall breathe in your vision for awhile
To calm my troubled soul in peaceful flight
To be a traveler who crosses space
To bond your mouth closer with sweetest taste
contest Long Distance Love
