Night Shade

~The fog's thin veneer masquerades the crimson dawn and diffuses the opaque light as it peers into the ebony hour. How did I find you, hidden amidst this black morning haze? You, my deceased angel, and I, the rhombus crucifix sutured into dark obscurity, are creatures of the night. Your unscrupulous heart is but mere stone, and though it stilled for night eternal, your death shall be my only true love. 6-18-22
