Niagara Falls

Echoing 
                                 loudly inside my head,
                   roaring thunder rushing through my veins.

                                       Powers are
                              chaining me mesmerized,
                         hypnotizing with a mighty force.

                                         Turbulent 
                                thoughts are racing blindly
                             spilling into open nothingness.

                                     Crashing down,
                                   only to rise again
                             as an eternal magical mist.

I live not to far from them so every time we get visitors from Europe it's the first place we always took them. In 2012 I was there three times. I never get tired of them though and I'm as in the poem mesmerized from them.

My sons is going there this weekend. I had the privilege to stay in a motel facing the falls last year. It was a dream of mine come true. It was breathtaking in the dark when they light up.
