Next Halloween

"Next Halloween" Walking with strangers as parents look on Speaking of the greatness the last house dropped in their bag Giddy with sugar and the excitement of the night to come Such innocence noticed by the horror behind the scenes Trick or treat you may hear from house to house Please and thank you from the chocolate mouths As they walk in closeness with those they walk with Unaware of the dangers happening in the distance Yes honey. They're having a good time. Of course I took the good ones As she hangs up the phone she feels a coldness throughout her frame She shivers only to feel the pain of sharpness that opens her from the insides Her stomach ripped open like Snickers candy, she slumps forward upon the horn Blaring as it echoes through the tress above the children Hiding the blood upon his hands as he silently travels behind the scene As most turn towards the car where the lady lay in blood No Face jams his knife upon a man that splits his skull like wood No Face was just a mythical killer who's name was joked about It's been years since his last debut, so now he must prove his truth With maggots slithering in and out of the sockets where eyes belong The rotten smell of death can be smelled upon the victims Doors are being locked, guns are being loaded, screaming children found fleeing The shocked stand in horror as the ground turns into a river of blood Trying to turn in the direction of the screams their feet slip as down they fall Before they even turn their eyes towards the stars, the pain of his blade slice them into pieces of bones and flesh Halloween night is his night of horror that shall never be joked about Through the victory of the gruesome display he's caused this town He smiles in the anticipation of the growing intestinal food he'll feast on until his next return Arms out wide he roars into the night sky as he steps into the shadows until next Halloween
