I took a look into Albert Pike, a General, Mason & Poet, looks like he was accused of devil worshiping. "Morals And Dogma" a book by him is what I've got so far Joe.

My mother and father married on Juneteenth so we alsways celebrated their marriage and the freeing of the slaves. Thanks for a need message. It is worthy of being a national holiday. Bill

So many have been slaves…love when freedom reigns! Let’s make the best of it. Still work to do, to save those who are trafficked, etc..

Yes Kim! But it is necessary to mark it with compensation to the decedents to show good merit and open doors for forgiveness. Juneteenth is all about the Black slaves. Muslims as well were brought here to become slaves, I'll write about it! :)

Well done Anaya. Why should any person be a slave to a free man? We were all born free. Amazing Grace.

Thank you, Victor! Why shouldn't they have a federal holiday for recognition of their enslavement? What are the other states afraid of? "born free, as free as the wind blows"

Thank you, Anaya for displaying a good history as an open candid history, as it should be in a free society such as ours. Robert

Opal Lee 1400 mile walk at 89 in 2016 to recognize it—Texas first state to make it a state holiday--Biden signed the Law in 2021 making it a federal holiday. Black history is American history.
