New Years Resolutions
2016 was an emotional roller coaster
fought myself a thousand times in my head,
release don't allow the pain hinder you,
cried until I made my pillow distress
beat myself up about the decisions I've made
Went within my soul
Went into isolation
my eyes opened up,
to who occurred sincerely
which was false,
In the end, everyone stood bogusly
2017 will be a great year
going for everything I desire to accomplish
become a magnificent poet, and author
the rotten apples are gone
zero in my space to distract me
no more pity parties
