New year resolutions
we make year after year,
announces heart's intent
to shift our consciousness,
for soul's rapid ascent.
New year resolutions
we’ve made this time around,
first surrenders doership,
melding head with our heart,
each life breath, God worship.
New year resolutions
have now gathered focus,
our mindful eye gentle,
assisting those in need,
kind touch nonjudgmental.
New year resolutions
heeding voice of conscience,
seeks from God permission,
that our thoughts, words and deeds,
fulfils soul's life mission.
