Hi Michelle, as Planet Earth celebrates the old year going out, and the new year coming in, the busy galaxy above us blesses us with its stars, the milky way and most importantly, a romantic New Moon. Awesome! Hugs and blessings and all the best for 2022 my friend, Jennifer.

Happy 2022 Michelle. Am I wrong to notice You are busy away from PS. Lived this haiku because I've been writing more Science-y topics lately. The moon, in your lovely haiku, saunters to another rhythm. Far from the human calendar, teaching about immortal shine & Space-Time. Paz

Interesting this year: The lunar month starts on Sunday night - Monday, just after January 1. So the two are aligned. Not always the case. :)

Michelle, you've written a fantastic haiku. The rhythm and subject matter were both appealing to me—best wishes for a prosperous new year.
