Notes About The Poem

New
Beginnings
New Beginnings
Not sure what Earth’s future will bring
Even now as we embark on a new start
Working to correct past mistakes
But we are resolved to make it work this time
Excited, we vow to move beyond past stumbles
Going green is a concept whose time has come
In rainforests we hear the whimpers of hope
No more destroying
No more waste
If we share this goal, we will succeed
Never will we have another chance
God grant us the wisdom and strength
Save our fragile planet
