New Angel

The ocean's whispered her name
the sands erased her footprints
poetic words written left behind
as you soar into the afterlife
take a glance at this blue orb
of friendships left behind
in sadness we celebrate your life
for God has a new angel in his fold
writing now with angel wings.
Rest in peace Carolyn
