Never Silent
Silently I wait
For a Look
A touch
A breath
For you fingertips to trace
the lines you know
so well.
The blood rushing
through my ears
Such a Roar
Blocking out the noise
I didn't know I was making.
The pounding of my heart
The breathing I just
can't control
As I think
As I wait
Not so silently I see.
