Never Grow Old

I see them dancing
Across the Milky
Way, Illuminates
Stars, as they go by
Singing songs of love

Gracing the star
Lit sky, as years
Go by singing
Songs of love, sigh

Never grow
Never grow
Old, Old, Old

They shall
Never

Die

(Some of the words in this poem are somewhat quoted from a song that my mother and
father sang in their latter life.)

Thoughtful poem in a difficult form. I like the way you use mid-line rhyme in section 2. And thanks for the kind comments on "Beagle". Jim

Sara, I love the sentiment in this poem. Staying young at heart is one of life's richest blessings. You have captured this feeling, with your words. (soupmail) Keep writing. Lovingly, Dane
