"never enough"

what can I say to make you understand
how many ways can there be to illustrate
when thinking of you thinking of us
completely my words are never enough

never enough of you taking my hand
the passion I find
never enough of me seeing you looking at me
the desire I see
never enough of our flirtatious whispers
the love I know

what will it take to have you believe
how many courses shall it take for you to feel
when thinking of you thinking of us
exclusively my reflection is never enough

never enough for me of you of us

Jennifer Proxenos December 9, 2022 at 10:34 AM Hi Lisa we have not been in touch for a while - I was very sick with a covid variant and two operations in the space or two months I land ed in hospital for a week and it took a while to come right. Thank you God I am back to where I was but it got really scary for a while . Great poem my friend well penned.
