Never Darling, Never
Question if you will the past, the truth, the pain and tears
Question maybe why I stayed beside you all those years
Ponder on the little things
On what they were and meant
But never darling never, never doubt my sentiment
Argue with the reaper, that his days are numbered wrong
Dispute the way the day arrives, another bird in perfect song
Hate the way I loved you
For it was a love intense
But never, darling never, never doubt my true intent
Walk upon the green, the grass upon the ground
Underneath the blue of the clearest sky so proud
Come to me when you need me
I never chose to leave
And I will never darling, never, never stop your need to grieve
Second guess that shiver, that invisible touch you feel
Second guess the shadows, was my outline real?
Believe in what I taught you
Believe I'd be with you if I could
Never darling, never, never doubt my love
