Never Apart

I thought I knew love until the moment I heard you cry. I was sure I'd felt pain until I saw sadness in your eyes. It was when I first looked upon you that my heart felt whole. Alas, my life complete and peace within my soul. No doubt you saved my life. You're everything I needed. My love for you, child, is endless and repeated. You, my greatest blessing and I, your biggest fan. How I ever lived without you, I'll never understand. I thank God for you daily and of this you can be sure, my prayers for you are constant and my love for you is pure. So please, my child, never doubt your mama's love. Even when I'm gone someday I'll love you from above. Trust in God with all your might and hold Him in your heart, so someday when we leave this earth we'll never be apart.
