Never and Ever

in the light of love
lives the fate of never and ever
there is the never ment to be
   thus does death decree
and the ever belong to thee
   as long as life shall be
never untrue be
   ever faithful to thee
did they ever love me
   what part of me to what degree
never really loved me
   for a while i refused to see
will we ever be
   can you give your heart to me

Lots of deep thoughts here... no real answers. I think, personally, people love at different levels...none the same. Not that they don't love with all they have, but with all they are capable of doing. I like your poem... to what degree?? good question.

Enjoyed reading this one today..Romantic even though one-sided love..Thanks for the visit by my work..Yes, we have the saying all over Georgia _High As A Georgia Pine_..Some people get that way whether it be from illegal drugs or legal drugs used wrong, alcohol used in the wrong way, or sometimes from a mental illness that is not treated..There are some people though that get high on life, a passion that they enjoy, some get high on the knowledge of the love of God and His Son Jesus..Sara
