Needle In the Hay

The hayride proved fun for all I must say

Until I jumped up and bellowed, “Oy Vey!”

     Other couples’ heads poked out

Just to learn what made me shout

(I’d sat upon a needle in the hay.)

Amused me....here I go, Carolyn....I have my warm beverage in hand...I am spending my evening with you here...Although Yasmin said she is calling me from Saudi Arabia and if she does call I will pause briefly...(shocked)...I know. Green tea,...then expresso!....here we go....
