Nature's Nourishing
Listen to poem:
Let summers' song fall upon my festive face,
Amidst valleys where the nightingales' nest
Lay me down near river's edge to embrace,
Where the gentle breeze and butterflies rest
Let sapphire skies engulf my playful presence,
Where mountainous peaks glaze with glee
Softly surrounded by a perennial pleasance,
As the winds soothe amongst their spree
With a pinch of lavender and emerald green,
The trees seduce the seductive scapes
Where rain washes with a precious preen,
And vivacious vines grace their grapes
Where a serene spirit rejoices to replace,
Let summer’s song fall upon my festive face.
