Nature's Healing Peace

*healing from surgery

Cool morning breeze, flows through the window
Songs from the trees, play in color with a show
I think of temporary restrictions and try not to frown
As people lecture me I’m overdoing it, up and down
I am doing my best, which is all I can do
Letting nature’s healing peace, reach me too
Sometimes it takes going through the same ordeal
To understand what it is like, to understand what I feel
I start each day and keep my head up high
I make sure that I always continue to try
So, as I listen to the concert from the bird songs
    -- I keep on healing and moving along --
