Nature's edicts

                                     Sun says burn for others
River says flow for the thirsty
Trees say flourish for the freshness
Crops say ripe for the hungry
Dawn says appear for the day
Dusk says merge with the night
                               Night says embrace the sleepless
Breeze says blow to beat the heat
Leaves say fall for the new ones
Flowers say bloom for the beauty
Birds say chatter for the song
Earth says revolve for the dwellers
Clouds say pour for the parched
Moon says shine to adorn the earth
Heart says beat for the life
Life says wait for the death

                                     Nature is an eternal song
                                     of cosmic consciousness
                                      Ringing in the universe
                                    Echoing through her edicts
                                 Pulsating for nameless benefits
                              Always committed, never betraying
Enduring on faith, trust and belief
                                  Alas! mortals miss her edicts

I like the pattern in this poem, and the search for living songs that speak to us. The heavens declare the glory of God... J :)
