A poised ballerina, feathered in green,
dancing in the breeze; she swirls in the air.
And it's the weirdest thing I've ever seen
I'm mesmerized and cannot help but stare.
Dancing in the breeze, she swirls in the air,
performing perfect pirouettes and twirls.
I'm mesmerized and cannot help but stare,
watching her headdress as she spins and whirls.
Performing perfect pirouettes and twirls,
her mastery dominates Nature's stage.
Watching her headdress as she spins and whirls,
I know she will only improve with age.
Her mastery dominates Nature's stage,
and it's the weirdest thing I've ever seen.
A tree that has been misshapen by age;
a poised ballerina feathered in green.
