Nature Has Outdone Herself

Glittery snowflakes shining with hope Glitzy and gleaming, showing off winter’s best Houses and chimneys crowned with fluffy clouds of white Nature’s call to beauty in January and February Jack Frost has made his rounds, The snow drifts are magnificent, There is a silence in the air That brings reverence and awe to the valley I glance at the forever fleece white blanket and I smile Nature has certainly outdone herself this week. Angels and faeries are no doubt prancing in this pretty scene Just barely within my mind’s eye, showing me abject beauty.

Thank you Connie. I hate to think I am the snow maker, but when I wrote this yesterday we had not one drop of snow. Today it snowed from 8:00 a.m. until 3:33 p.m. straight and hard. I am the snowmaker!
