Nature

Presumptuous to think that all should be subject to man’s will – We highest on the Pecking Order! Till nature shouts her feminine trill, has her monarch fill, clawing back, with undressing wind, voluminous waves, and impaling chill -- For no man can command the summer’s end, nor the fall’s exact rate of exchange though we give such cycles a day Mother will have her own whimsical way, reminding us, that she is forever wild and free...seeming a season abrupt or a never-ending frosting eternity….

This is a very evocative write, Joe..You've so wonderfully conveyed, how humans tend to extend their domination in every subject and try to tame all happenings but, nature actually shows who is the real creator of everything that we have..She has her own freedom and a wild heart that knows no boundaries..I love the wordplay here throughout and especially "Till nature shouts her feminine trill, has her monarch fill, clawing back, with undressing wind"And that ending line!Wow, a magnificent piece.

an intense and soulful write. As humans we are arrogant to think that anything is subject to our will. Wise words, Joe. Happy New Year, Sara

The powers that man exercises most are, arrogance, foolishness, self-centered glutenous pride. Blessings my friend.

Never ending frosting eternity! What a line to end this very deeply meaningful and profound poem. I love the flow of this and also how you’ve written “ Presumptuous to think that all should be subject to man’s will –“ so true but often we see that… well delivered! Soulful write, pleasure reading your work

Thank you, IE. We make ourselves seem complicated, but I am certain that other beings, far more advanced, consider us quite shallow and petty when it comes to subjects that eternally matter.
